Playing the Role of POZZO in WAITING FOR GODOT

NEW YIDDISH REP is bringing back its critically-acclaimed production of Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot this winter. The two original leads (DAVID MANDELBAUM and SHANE BAKER) will reprise their brilliant turns as Estragon and Vladimir, respectively, and I will have the (dis)tinct (dis)pleasure of playing the role of Pozzo opposite my partner-in-grime and arch-rival, LUZER TWERKSY, who will play the very enigmatic and limber Lucky. I look forward to paying Luzer backward for dropping cues, flubbing lines and just generally making me look like a putz when we played opposite each other in New Yiddish Rep’s Rhinoceros, and will do my best repay him in kind.
